Our story starts in 1963, when Allan Burrows opened for business to produce hand-lettered signs and typesetting for newspapers in Fleet Street. He was renowned as a perfectionist, and impressed that quality on the people who worked for him and the work they produced.
The one thing that remains from when Allan Burrows started his company is the most important thing: his belief in perfection. Today Burrows consists of three cutting-edge studios – CGI, Digital and Print – that work together to produce outstanding creative work.
They say necessity is the mother of invention. The birth of our CGI studio was due to the necessity of our largest client needing images of a car they hadn’t yet manufactured. So we used their CAD engineering data to build the model on screen.
That was in 1998. Since then we have blazed a trail in new CGI techniques. So much so, that software and hardware manufacturers ask us to Alpha- and Beta-test their new products.
Our team of more than 50 artists comes from a varied background of traditional art direction, product engineering, photography, game modelling and technical scripting. What unites them is the pursuit of artistic perfection in the finished product.
We began managing web content for our clients in the early 1990s. It was an easy step from there to producing websites and online ads.
We still practise these traditional digital skills, but our portfolio now spans leading-edge app design and build for iOS and Android, database-driven configurators and advanced augmented reality with image recognition.
We’re also experienced at running Google Adwords campaigns and using the results to create better landing pages.
The oldest creative studio at Burrows gets stronger every year. We create brochures, ads and print collateral that is supplied to over 45 countries around the globe.
